Mick O’Dea
Mick O’Dea was born in Ennis in Co Clare and has been based in Dublin for a number of years. He lectured at the National College of Art and Design from 1981-1999. Although O’Dea is primarily a draughtsman, he is equally adept in portraiture, landscape and figurative work. He has exhibited with the Taylor and Rubicon Galleries in Dublin and the Limerick City Art Gallery. In 1997 he was awarded an M.A. in European Fine Art after a year of study in Barcelona. He is a member of the RHA and of Aosdana.
