
Martin Mooney
Martin Mooney studied at the University of Ulster, Belfast, Brighton
College of Art and the Slade School of Fine Art. He was recipient of
the Arts Council George Campbell Memorial Award and the Richard Ford
Award from the Royal Academy in London. He applies formal principles
to his compositional arrangement. His still life works and architectural
paintings show apt colouring and they have an intimacy and mystery that
intrigues the viewer. His work is featured in many collections including;
Jefferson Smurfit Group, AIB, Merrion Hotel, Ulster Bank, Delta Airlines,
Harvard University and the Paul Mellon Collection, USA.
