Gillian Lawler's densely layered images mediate on the possible long-term rise and fall of cities, suggesting vast and possibly fragile ambitions. Her work explores anxiety and estrangement associated with the experience of architectural space within urban living.
Ann Quinn reacts to nature with both fear and awe. She is always searching for that enchanting otherworldliness that nature can sometimes bring. Her work discovers the beauty in minutiae, in the image just above the eye line, just out of reach.
